Governor Doyle Announces Mid Valley Industries Expansion Project to Create 75 Jobs
KAUKAUNA – Governor Jim Doyle today announced that Mid Valley Industries will receive $437,000 in Enterprise Development Zone Tax Credits from the Department of Commerce for an expansion project that will bring 75 highly skilled machining and fabricating jobs to Wisconsin. The company is expanding and equipping its existing manufacturing facility in Kaukauna.
“One of my top priorities is to help move industries, companies, and communities forward and create good-paying jobs for our citizens," Governor Doyle said. “I’m pleased that Mid Valley Industries has chosen to expand in Wisconsin, and that we could assist the company in bringing new jobs to Outagamie County.”
“Without the Wisconsin Enterprise Development Zone Tax Credits and the Federal Economic Stimulus Package, Mid Valley Industries would not have been able to proceed with this expansion project,’ said Doug Pribyl, Mid Valley Industries Vice President. “This expansion increases our capacity and will enable us to continue to be competitive in the global marketplace.”
Founded and incorporated in 1996 by Kevin Schmid and Doug Pribyl, Mid Valley Industries is a custom job machine shop that focuses on precision specialty custom manufacturing, general job shop machining and complete machine assembly. Total project cost is $4 million. The project is expected to create 75 highly skilled machining and fabrication jobs in addition to the 82 existing full-time employees already employed by the company in Kaukauna.
